Community Involvement 

As busy as we are in the office, we are just as busy supporting our local community in other ways than just animal care. Here are a few of the things we spend our time to benefit the community and surrounding areas.

Mattersville

Wolf & Hybrid Sanctuary 

Mattersville is a wolf sanctuary that is dedicated to helping wolves and hybrids in need, whether it be rehabilitation or veterinary care, paired with veterans overcoming trauma in a pack healing experience with a healthy transition into civilization.

 

Here at The Musketeers Veterinary Practice we partner with Mattersville by donating time and care to help the wolves and hybrid dogs heal from previous injuries and medical diagnoses.

Arapahoe County Youth Livestock Auction 

Every year Gina and the crew head down to Arapahoe County Fair and support the youth during their 4-H/ FFA Livestock Auction. Where these young people exhibit their projects and show the hard work they have put in over the spring and summer months.  

Catch & Release 

Feral Cat Population along the I-70 Corridor 

It's no secret that people come out to rural areas and bring unwanted pets and drop them off. Here at MVP, we partner with locals and help contain the ever-expanding feral cat populations by doing low cost spay and neuter surgeries. With that it is a trap and release program to prevent unwanted kittens. 

Byers School District 32J

Every year MVP donates to the Byers School District to assist in supporting the growing athletes of the corridor.
